I know it's an old thread, but maybe someone with a similar problem finds this through google. We've had oil wrestling at our parties, with several liters of silicone oil. By my estimation, some 30 or 40 persons has tried it. It takes a few minutes to wipe it out of the eyes, but I've never heard about a problem like that, or felt it myself.
